ABOUT GUSTAVO
Gustavo grew up in Chicago's southwest, side neighborhood of Pilsen, once a major port of entry for thousands of Mexican families to the U.S. At the age of 11, Gustavo was selling 25 cents corn on the cob in Chicago's Maxwell Street. He would also pick tomatoes, corn and peppers throughout Indiana and Michigan farms for his uncle's family store in the community; and, also had the honor of planting and harvesting his father's and uncle's crops of corn and soybean on their farm in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Gustavo attended grammar school in the Chicago Public School system and St. Ignatius College Preparatory for high school. His Bachelor of Arts degree is from Loyola University and M.B.A. in Business Administration is from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Gustavo has been on the regulatory side of the banking industry in leadership and managerial roles for over 25 years, which also includes coaching staff and developing training/development programs.

Gustavo's personal and professional experiences as a first, generation Mexican-American provide a unique perspective in coaching partnerships t0 help clients identify their true north.

Civic and charitable activities include advisory and board member roles for local government and not-for-profit organizations.

Gustavo utilizes his International Coaching Federation, Co-Active, Training Institute, and Positive Intelligence certifications to serve Hispanic men nationally and internationally.

Gustavo is open to discussing any topics that the client wishes to cover in the partnership, with no judgment or agenda, and 100% confidentiality.

Gustavo will champion clients in their successes, challenge the client on any concepts, perceptions, or beliefs that are at odds with what the client wants to achieve clarity on. Gustavo will not restrain in challenging the client with tough questions that need to be asked for fear of losing the client's business.
