Stepping back and seeing the big picture is usually very helpful.
This calendar, which shows what day of the 365 days in our year it is, was pleasant to see.
It made me appreciate how much I’ve experienced this year and not just think about the day of the month.
December first is, indeed, the first day of the last month of the year. There are projects to complete in the four weeks before the clock strikes midnight and 2023 comes rushing in.
But it’s also the 335th opportunity to have an impact and effect on the world and to minimize being affected or reactive to it. It’s a time to appreciate the moments of connection with friends and family and to relish the richness of being alive.
