Gratitudes

As the week winds down, I’ll take a swing at naming a few things I’m deeply grateful for this year 🏌🏽♂️
Time with our son — and with family and friends.
From visits that remind you what really matters, to late-summer live music in our house, to many a gatherings: cooking, birthdays, and ordinary get-togethers that quietly celebrate people just for being who they are.
Staying connected to my roots.
Several trips to Mexico this year—taking care of business, spending time with family, and being reminded that identity, responsibility, and belonging don’t stop at borders.
Building what’s next.
Establishing new partnerships and engagements, and continuing to shape and roll out a coaching framework.
The open road.
Getting on the bike throughout the seasons including a motorcycle trek into Canada, and through the Michigan country roads—moments of solitude, reflection, and perspective, surrounded by beautiful landscape and nothing but time to think and breathe.
Presence & Support
Not numbing to the cruel realities occurring to hermanos and hermanas by being present and supportive directly or indirectly through organizations, as our country weathers through this dark time.
Grateful. Grounded. Present.
How about you?
Take a swing at your gratitudes of the year—big or small.
