Like The Sun — We Show Up

The sun rises every day. No drama. No noise. Just… presence.
Especially for those of us — Hispanic professionals — walking this camino.
We carry the stories of where we come from… and the quiet weight of where we stand now.
We see what happens to others who look like us — familia being torn apart, neighbors treated unfairly.
And still — we show up to work.
There’s a kind of fuerza in that.
Not loud. Not for applause.
Just steady. Like the sun.
Watching the sun on the horizon, I remember my parents — rising before dawn, no matter how heavy life felt.
I see how many of us do the same, even when nobody notices what it takes.
Tomorrow — when you feel tired, invisible — look outside.
The sun doesn’t ask permission.
It just rises.
And so will you.
That quiet strength you carry?
It matters.
So keep going. Keep rising.
Even if no one claps.
Even if nobody sees.
You’re enough.
Porque así somos. Because it’s who we are.
