A lot of us grew up following scripts we didn’t exactly choose.

Be useful.

Be loyal.

Don’t ask for too much.

And honestly, none of that is wrong.

It got us through. It kept things moving.

But at some point, usually later than we expected, something quieter starts tapping us on the shoulder.

Not to blow things up.

Not to run away.

Just to ask…

Can I have a say now?

You get to author your life.

Even if you didn’t get to write the opening chapters.
