There’s something humbling about remembering that we each came into this world through the body, breath, and presencia of a mother.
Some were tender. Some did their best while carrying wounds of their own. Others loved in quiet, imperfect ways. However they showed up, they shaped us.
Whether our mothers are still with us or have passed on, their huellas remain—in how we love, how we lead, how we listen. Their amor incondicional, or even just their effort, taught us more than we may have realized at the time.
Today, I’m reflecting with gracias. For life. For lessons. For the ways our mothers witnessed our becoming—and for how we get to carry their best forward. In our families, in our friendships, and yes, even in our professional lives.
Let’s honor them. With presence. With patience. With the kind of integrity they hoped we’d live with.
(Clockwise: father and his mamá; esposa y son; self y mamá)
