“¿Y por qué ellos?” / “Why them?”

ree

That’s what a consultant asked me the other day. “Why narrow your work to LatAm and Hispanic professionals? Wouldn’t it be better to go broad?”

I smile and answered.

And I said: “Porque soy yo. Because it’s what I know. Who I am.”

I’m a Hispanic professional. I’ve lived the climb through corporate, structured, hierarchical America. I’ve felt the weight of being underrepresented. I’ve learned what it means to and not to self-advocate. And I’ve carried both performance and presence (cultura) on my shoulders.

And right now—este momento—it matters more than ever to stand up, to be a voice, to say: we belong here.

Is it niche? Sure.

Is it nuanced? Absolutely.

But it’s real. It’s auténtico.

And it’s needed.

I’m not chasing numbers. I’m not trying to flood the system with volume.

I’m focused on value—on creating spaces where professionals feel seen, heard, and supported.

So when offers come in to “scale fast” or push lead-generated schemes, I politely decline. Because for me, it’s not about chasing. It’s about choosing. Choosing impacto over noise.

Choosing value over volume.

And that choice—that alignment—is where my pride lives.

Because in the end, authenticity is the real power.

✨ If you’re a company looking to better support your Hispanic and LatAm professionals—or if you areone of those professionals navigating the climb—I’d be honored to walk beside you.

Let’s create workplaces where dignidad, belonging, and impact aren’t just words, but lived realities.

Más Value over Volume
