¡Vamos! México…from the U.S.A.

Home now in small-town America, sitting with Sarah and getting ready to watch Mexico play again.

The last three Mexico wins, I saw or listened to from Mexico: in Celaya, in the oldest bar in town, with family, while packing…and somewhere in that long transition between leaving one home and returning to another.

Tonight feels different. Same jersey. Same pride. Different setting.

After a long trip through Mexico, Texas, and back to Michigan, I’m grateful to be safely home, cheering with la esposa, and still carrying Mexico with me.

Some wins stay with you beyond the final whistle…y, siempre en el corazón.
