As the week begins…

You, me, and everyone else are starting the day differently. And at the same time, much the same.

Somebody is heading into work with a lot waiting for them. Somebody else is applying for jobs and hoping this is the week they finally hear yes. Others are raising kids, caring for parents, dealing with money, trying to fix something at home, or carrying a disappointment they have not said much about.

And as it begins, it’s worth remembering that a single moment doesn’t gets to become the whole story of your value.

The job you did not get may hurt. A mistake may be yours to own. The argument may need another conversation. The problem at work may be telling you something.

And here’s where we may be the same.

None of those moments gets to decide everything about who you are.

You can have a bad interview without being incapable. You can disappoint someone without becoming a disappointment. You can go through a hard season without deciding that this is how the rest of your life will be.

And, you can make it through porque si.

We all may need this reminder, sometimes.
