Not Left. Not Right. Human

We’re watching our hermanos y hermanas….families get torn apart.
Mothers detained.
Fathers deported.
Kids left behind.
All while the husband and wife are working, paying taxes, raising children.
Doing everything right—except having the right papers.
No Benefits. Still Contributing.
Cleaning buildings. Picking in the fields. Working in construction. Mowing lawns. Asking for nothing, but giving everything.
Due Process Still Matters.
Laws are not supposed to punish silently.
If we are truly a nation of laws, then *every person*—documented or not—deserves fairness.
Deserves their day in court.
Deserves not to be erased in the dark.
This Isn’t About Politics.
This is about the kind of country we say we are.
What we do with our power.
What we allow in silence.
Hard Work. Family. Respect.
These are conservative values. These are progressive values. These are *human* values.
We Can Hold Both.
We can care about borders and care about people.
We can enforce laws and still honor dignity.
Let’s Be Bigger Than Fear.
Let’s remember who we are. Let’s talk—across sides, across silence.
Let’s be Americans, with heart, and with spine.
La dignidad no tiene papeles.
(Dignity doesn’t require papers.)
